Since all learners have to learn three school languages apart from their regional, minority or migratory first languages (German as well as French and English), it makes sense to stress similar goals, approaches, methods and genres used in all languages. This supports learners are supported to become not only more efficient language learners and language users, but also to have an appreciation of other languages and cultures. In this course, you'll be introduced to the fundamentals of plurilingual and intercultural education, taking away easy to implement practical applications for the English language classroom to develop your students language repertoire and cultural identities.
